August Free Class: Monday Evening Cycling
5:30-6:15 PM Mondays with Claire
Claire is our brand new instructor, and we are excited to offer her class as our free monthly class in August! (There is no membership required to attend.)
She is a certified group fitness instructor who is dedicated to helping people find a form of movement they enjoy, and is excited to bring her passion for teaching group fitness to Ballard Health Club. Claire enjoys creating classes that are centered around upbeat and fun music to create a high-energy atmosphere.
Additionally, Claire is a graduate of Seattle University earning a Master’s degree in Kinesiology. During her time studying at Seattle U, Claire learned how to teach Group Fitness classes and saw the positive impact they can have on the community. During her free time, she loves to be outside running and baking sweet treats!
You can expect a low-impact workout with a high cardio output. In addition to getting your heart-pumping, cycling strengthens your lower body, especially your core, glutes, hamstrings, and quads. Each cycling class at BHC is 45 minutes long, including a warm up and cool down, and is suitable for all ages and fitness levels.
For your first time, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to allow the instructor to help you set up your bike.
