How long have you been a member at Ballard Health Club?
Cindy has been a member of Ballard Health Club since October 2022.
Why do you work out?
She started working out to maintain some level of fitness as she grows older. Cindy has been a rower, but up until she joined the gym the only exercise she was getting was walking.
When you are at the gym, what do you do to work out?
She started attending the Silver Sneakers classes with her friend Joani and then added some Silver Plus classes.
Why do you choose to work out at BHC?
“I really need in person workouts with other people to keep me going and the people at BHC are great! The instructors are inspiring and fun. I look forward to seeing my fellow class members and that gets me out of the house and to the gym!”
What is one thing you’d like people to know?
“The value of consistency really hit home for me recently when I walked up a flight of stairs carrying two bags of heavy groceries. I couldn't have done that when I started at the gym, but slow and steady with encouragement from the instructors at BHC I have made big progress without even realizing it!”
