Personal Trainer / Group Exercise Instructor

Brenda Savage has been a member of Ballard Health Club since 1998. She is a NASM certified Personal Trainer, Schwinn Certified Cycling Coach, Group Fitness Instructor and a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach.

Prior to becoming a Personal Trainer/Fitness instructor, Brenda spent much of her career in Medical Research. She has been a competitive athlete most of her life, including swimming, springboard diving, Ironman triathlons, and ultimate and freestyle frisbee.

Brenda feels very strongly that when it comes to fitness we need to “use it, or lose it”.  She aims to apply what she calls the “5 Pillars of Health”  (Nutrition, Exercise, Sleep, Stress Management and Metabolic Health) to her training strategy with the goal of lengthening lifespan and simultaneously improving health span for all of her clients.

When she is not at the gym, Brenda enjoys spending time with her family, including her beloved dog, Chloe, cooking, knitting, hiking and world travel.
