Kris is an experienced and passionate instructor who believes every body deserves movement that nourishes the soul and empowers the person. She believes that health comes in many forms and teaches with all levels of fitness in mind – challenging students with innovative class formats and offering both hi and low impact options with individual modifications as needed.
Kris came to fitness a bit accidentally with a background in dance/theater: while looking for a ballet technique class, she stumbled into her first barre class, and the rest, as they say, is history. Each of her classes are rooted in posture and core work with music that fuels each movement. Kris has been leading barre classes for over 8 years, burlesque & dance choreography almost as long and group fitness with an emphasis on strength training for over 6 years.
