Group Fitness Changes

Hello BHC Community,

Welcome to April and happy Easter to those who celebrate. Spring represents change and growth, and we have lots of changes happening in the Club. In this month’s newsletter and on our Group Fitness schedules, you will see we have made changes including class names, class times, and class additions that I would like to review here. 

Starting with class names, collectively we have decided to change the name of our Open Yoga classes to give each class its own identity based on the instructor’s yoga style and craft. You will now see new class names like Hatha Yoga, Bhakti Flow Yoga, Vinyasa Flow Yoga, and Soft Flow Yoga in place. You can expect the same awesome instructors and same experience. These classes will have an updated description on our website so existing and new members can learn more about the different styles of yoga BHC offers. 

Some of the change happening is bitter-sweet. Our beloved BodyPump instructor, Bryan Del Rosario, is moving out of state for work and will no longer be teaching the Thursday evening BodyPump class. A stellar individual and an amazing instructor, Bryan has been teaching at BHC for 6 years. He will be truly missed and we wish him the absolute best. We have started a Kudo Board for Bryan. If you have taken his class over the years and would like to leave a message for him you may do so HERE

We are very fortunate to have Certified BodyPump Instructor, Chuck Harris, joining our team and he will be taking over the Thursday evening class. With this change, the class start time is being moved from 5:30pm to 6:00pm.

Finally, in the spirit of Spring growth, we are adding a new series of our strength and conditioning class Total Body Strong 60 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 6:00am. Led by new coach, Colton Barnes and coach Kyle Hyde, this 3 x/ week, 60 minute class is for our early-rising members needing to get a great workout in before the work and school day starts. This class is set to start on Monday, April 15th in Studio Y
