Member Spotlight - Eileen Johnstone

How long have you been a member at Ballard Health Club? 

I started coming to BHC in December 2021.

Why do you work out? 

I work out to improve my health, balance, and strength in order to keep me fit as I continue to age!

When you are at the gym, what do you do to work out?

I prefer strength training with weights and some cardio.

What at BHC has worked for you for attaining your goals?

Personal training has been very beneficial. Through my personal training sessions, I learn so much about metabolic health, and I have periodic body scans to see my results improve! 

Why do you choose to work out at BHC?

The staff is welcoming, I enjoy seeing so many others my age working out and the abundance of classes offered - all for an affordable price!  And should I mention Pat has been my friend for 20 yrs! 

What is your favorite piece of equipment, exercise, or class to do in the gym or at home?

 I am enjoying working with free weights and love the variety of exercises I do when taking Brenda’s classes!

What is one thing you’d like people to know?

I look forward to going to the gym since joining BHC!
