Update from Ballard Health Club - Live Streaming Classes

March 30, 2020 (COVID-19 Temporary Closure)

It’s been a long 2 weeks since we were required to temporarily close on March 16th. We now know that Ballard Health Club will be closed for at least the month of April.

As of today, I am excited to announce the live streaming of over 45 classes a week on our BHC website. These classes are being taught by our own BHC instructors. This is a great time to try a variety of different fitness classes. The list of classes is posted on our new live streaming webpage. To access the classes, visit the Ballard Health Club website and select “Virtual Classes”. I want to thank Karen Gamble, our Class Director, for the enormous effort she put into organizing the live streaming project.

As we settle into this new (yet temporary) environment brought on by the coronavirus, our crew continues to look at ways we can help the BHC community. We are also offering virtual personal training from our trainers. Information on this option is at “COVID-19 Personal Training” under “Virtual Classes” on the BHC website.

Last week, I mentioned we were going to make the most of the down time to complete construction projects. Fortunately, we got a pretty good start on those projects before construction activities were included as “non-essential” services. In the coming weeks, we will navigate the completion of these projects while conforming to the new rules.

As we settle into this new normal, I hope the live streaming classes will assist you in your fitness routine and help you through these challenging times.

Thank you for continuing to be a member of Ballard Health Club and I can’t tell how much I look forward to seeing you all at the Club once again!

Stay healthy and safe,
