BODYPUMP is a Les Mills-registered strength training class that uses barbells and other equipment to help you get lean and toned:
What it is
A fast-paced workout that combines light to moderate weights with high repetition to target your entire body
What to expect
A class typically includes a warm up, squats, chest, back/hamstrings, triceps, biceps, lunges, shoulders, abs, and a cooldown
Benefits
BODYPUMP can help you increase aerobic fitness and muscular endurance, and can also improve your physical and mental strength
Class length
BODYPUMP classes are available in 30, 45, or 55 minute lengths
Music
BODYPUMP classes feature upbeat, high-energy music that you can sing along to
Instructors
Instructors coach you through the moves and techniques, and can help you select weights and set up equipment
Fitness level
BODYPUMP is suitable for all fitness levels, and instructors can offer modifications
