Kettlebell Workshops Coming in November!

BHC is offering three separate 2-hour Kettlebell Workshops led by BHC Trainer, Roxy Turner. These workshops are independent of one another and are not in a series, but anyone is welcome to take all three! Each workshop is $30. Max of 12 people, and will be held in the training studio.

INTRO TO KETTLEBELLS | 11/10/19 | 10:00AM - 12:00PM

Kettlebell workouts are amazing because they can combine strength, power, cardio, mobility, and core stability into a single workout. If you've been eyeing them out on the gym floor and wishing that you knew more about how to use them, now is your chance! In this workshop you'll learn the following basic kettlebell movements: squat, deadlift, swings, clean, press. You'll leave with several workouts to use on your own.

KETTLEBELL MOBILITY | 11/17/19 | 10:00AM - 12:00PM

Kettlebells can be a fantastic tool to increase the mobility and stability in your hips, shoulders, and core. In this workshop we'll go through a series of drills that you can use to work on increasing your range of motion in these areas, in addition to learning how to do the Turkish Get Up.

ADVANCED KETTLEBELL FLOW | 11/24/19 | 10:00AM - 12:00PM

In this workshop you'll learn how to do single arm swings, jerk, snatch, and many other non-traditional kettlebell movements. More importantly, you'll learn how to string these movements together into a "flow". A flow is an exploratory way of moving through many different planes, patterns and combinations of movements. It helps build athleticism, awareness and conditioning and is a great supplement to strength work. If you are looking to add more diversity and creativity to your kettlebell workouts, this is the workshop for you!

Pre-requisites: must already know the basics (squat, deadlift, swings, clean, and press)
