Member Spotlight: Jessemine Fung

How long have you been a member at Ballard Health Club? 

I began my membership at Ballard Health Club in January of 2024.

Why do you work out? 

I have always enjoyed working out and moving my body. I used to dance ballet, modern, and jazz, and had a brief stint as a gymnast when I was growing up. 

I like to challenge myself, especially as my body changes with age and other conditions. 

When you are at the gym, what do you do to work out?

I mostly take Kyle's and Rachel's Total Body Strong workout classes. I also supplement with rowing on the ERG and barbell weight lifting on the weekends.

What at BHC has worked for you for attaining your goals?

BHC has given me my confidence back after taking years away from working out after injuring myself. Also meeting other members at BHC has been a bonus!
