The Only Thing Constant is Change

Dear Members,
As we transition to fall we are adding some classes and losing some classes, introducing some new instructors and wishing others farewell. With the help of your requests and feedback, we are always working to help BHC grow and evolve.
Our beloved Courtney is moving to Bellingham. Though she will no longer be able to provide in-person instruction at the club, she will continue to keep you informed with her lively Instagram posts as our Marketing Manager. Please stay connected to get the latest updates.
With her Body Sculpt class on hiatus, Shannon will start providing personal training soon. I will be one of her first clients, so I will report back on how terrific her coaching is next month. Naturally, Shannon will continue to offer her popular Cycling classes.
MJ will be teaching her Open Yoga class in Studio Y and online starting on Thursday, October 5 at 10:00 am. Some of you have seen MJ in person at her workshops, like the one this Saturday. https://www.ballardhealthclub.com/register-events Now you will be able to practice with her at the club or at home as you prefer on Thursdays in October.
Speaking of workshops, you can use the link above to sign up for Karen’s Walking Well Workshop on October 28 1:30-3:00 pm. Learn how to walk safely and comfortably at any age.
Noah will start offering a completely new class for BHC soon. You may already know Noah from the front desk or as a personal trainer. In October he will start sharing his love of kickboxing in Studio Y on Thursdays at 7:00 pm. Sign up early for this lively, invigorating class. Space is limited.
Karen’s Zumba class will move to Wednesdays at 7:00 pm in Studio Y for the month of October. She will continue to offer an online option for those who want to do their dancing at home.
For those of you who have requested an early morning workout, Lisa will start offering a Bootcamp on Monday and Wednesday mornings at 7:00 am in Studio Y starting on Monday, October 16. As the weather turns cooler, Lisa will help you heat things up internally with her high energy class.
If you like variety, watch for what we offer on Saturdays at noon in Studio Y. We plan to let a number of different instructors bring you something new each week. Please let us know how you like these pop-up classes. We might incorporate some into our regular schedule.
As you requested, I have updated the Video on Demand library on our web site. There are plenty of new workouts to access there every week. Much as we love to see each other and exercise together at the gym, sometimes our busy schedules make recorded classes the best option, especially as we approach the holiday season.
One final reminder is that you can still sign up for Heather and Tracy’s Suncadia Retreat November 3-5 using this link.. https://www.ballardhealthclub.com/register-events
Thanks again for sharing your feedback and requests.
Best wishes,
Marianne Clarke
