Update from Ballard Health Club - We Are Reopening!

January 7, 2021

Dear Members,

On Tuesday, Governor Inslee announced, “Healthy Washington - Roadmap to Recovery”, a COVID-19 phased recovery plan. Based on this plan, gyms such as Ballard Health Club, will be allowed to open in a limited capacity on Monday, January 11th.  Phase 1 of the plan has a limitation of 1 member per 500 square feet for a maximum of 45 minutes per scheduled session.

With this said, we will re-start our Open Gym Sessions as of Monday. We will be limited to 3 Cardio spots and 8 Strength spots per every 45-minute session.  These sessions will be available 12 different times on weekdays and 9 different times on weekends. Sign-up for these sessions will be available online as of Saturday, January 9th., here: Open Gym Sessions - Cardio & Strength.

Many of you are familiar with the very thorough method of cleaning and disinfecting we have put into place during the last period of Open Gym Sessions and know the kind of attention we have given to safety during this pandemic. For more information about our Safety Environment at Ballard Health Club, click here: BHC COVID-19 Safety.

Phase 2 of the Governor’s plan will increase the number of members at a given time at the club and will also likely increase the time people may remain there. Click here for the press release explaining the new plan: Healthy Washington – Roadmap to Recovery.

Please note BHC’s parking availability has changed. BHC parking permits are now only honored at the main Ballard Health Club parking lot on NW 56th St.

It will be great to see our members back at the Club and we are all looking forward to the COVID-19 situation improving as the year progresses.

See you soon!
