How long have you been a member at Ballard Health Club?
I have been a member for several years.
Why do you work out?
Check out The Bee Gees, “somebody help me, stayin’ alive “ . That and I know it is good for me generally.
What do you do to work out?
I stretch, balance, push ups, planks, mostly resistive machines and talk to my friends. Not much free weights, they are too noisy. Don’t go to classes where demands to keep up would be difficult.
What in the gym has worked for you in attaining your goals?
I don’t have many goals apart from the above, Trying to attain goals would be difficult.
Why do you choose to work out at BHC?
I have been a member at other gyms, and BHC is the best, clean, friendly and helpful staff, and plenty of equipment. The challenge of parking in the tiny spots below Bartell’s is an added benefit.
What is your favorite piece of equipment, exercise or class to do in the gym or at home?
Most of the equipment leads to shortness of breath and sore joints. If I had to choose, the Concept 2 rowing machines, followed by showers, and the cardiac defibrillator, hopefully available.
